Feel free to give us a call and arrange to check us out
Our new facility is located in Polk County, about 11 miles north of Amery on Beautiful Lake.
Take Hwy 8 to Co. Hwy E
The door by the turnaround in the driveway is the correct door. The "cathouse" is located in the 2nd story so it has a great view. I let my cats go up there while it was under construction and they loved sitting up there in the windows. They thought the herons and swans out in the lake were especially entertaining to watch. Keep in mind that all proceeds from the boarding facility go to food and veterinary care for the rescued cats here!

Catnip Condos We want to thank Armstrong Veterinary Clinic, Star Prairie, WI,
A very big thanks to Tanya, who works at Armstrong. She has been assisting me with the feral cat colony that I "inherited" by helping me find money to spay and neuter them. She's also helped me to find homes for a number of orphaned kittens and has fostered quite a few. She also helps me around here when it's time to do vaccinations and such. It's really hard to do some things all by myself. Her help has been a godsend! THANK YOU TANYA!!!
Thank you Feline Pine Cat Litter! Feline Pine has a shelter program that helps shelters get affordable cat litter. It's wonderful to find a company that cares so much! I encourage all of you to support any company that is willing to forgo a little profit in order to help take care of those little animals that need sheltering. Feline Pine is a company definitely worth your support.
We also want to thank Rob from Dragonfly Gardens in in Amery for the small side windows.
Thanks go out as well to my father, Art Dilley, who took the time to build me really nice cabinets for the cat family room
Thanks to Jim Hauxhurst for supplying many of
the decorations and for the help in acquiring this wonderful place. He also actively helps me to keep the feral colony fed, and has given a home to four that had health problems. (They are now doing very well and are spoiled rotten)
Thanks to Larry Behne Construction, Amery WI, 715-268-8655.
Thanks to Kathy Larson, who donates cat litter and cat food whenever she can. Little does she know just how much it helps me around here.
Thanks to Claire Todd, who has done so much to help me get started with all this. She was my very first customer as well. I couldn't have gotten all this off the ground without her.
ALSO - In regards to our 2009 spay/neuter activities: Thanks especially to Pat Olson, and Nancy and Dodd Knutson, who really came thru. Most of the money we made at our summer sale came from their donated goods.
Thanks to PAWS of Western WI. They provided funding for 4 spays, and we appreciate it very much! They are located in River Falls, WI and have a number of wonderful programs to help animals: The spay/neuter program, Love on a leash educational program, and a foster program. If you would be interested in checking them out and maybe providing them with some help or support, go to PAWS
Thanks go out as well to all of our clients. Thanks to the help from you all we were able to get 17 cats spayed and 9 neutered!!! Thank you - every one of you!
We also want to thank all of you who have adopted cats from the rescue!
Quasicatamoto - This little lady is a long haired orange cat who was abandoned during Jan 2009. She was an indoor cat so had no idea of how to take care of herself outside. The weather at the time was about 20 below - she froze her ears off, and somehow (we can't tell if she crawled into some machinery or was attacked by a dog or coyote) had one side of her face torn thru from top of head to chin, and one eye ripped out. We nursed her back to health and she is now a one eyed, fat and sassy, spoiled baby here at Catnip Condos.
Tippy - Tippy came to us from Deer Park where a not-so-friendly homeowner was putting out leg traps to catch and kill cats when they'd come in his yard. Tippy got lucky and was found after escaping the trap but his right rear leg was unfortunately no longer attached. He healed up well and manages to get around without a problem.
Paco - Paco was attacked by a large dog when she was about 4 weeks old. The dog chewed off her tail and the two spinal vertebrae before it. She managed to survive but has no control over her bladder anymore. We just spend a lot of time cleaning up behind her and use a lot of puppy pads. She is such a sweet little thing that we feel she's worth the extra work.
The list goes on and on.
