Each kitty guest gets a room of his own (unless you have more than one cat and they want to share a room). The rooms are walk-in size, and each is unique, with its own name, decor, windows, and special features. They all vary a little but the average size is 5x5x9 feet. All our feline guests have access to the large play and exercise cat-family room area for at least 8 hours a day. Keep in mind that I am not quite done with remodeling here so the room decors may change as I add and change the cat furniture. I may also change your cat's room while here if they seem more interested in another vacant room, or their room doesn't seem to be making them happy.

The different decor can give your cat the environment that suits him/her best.

Our rooms are:

The Penthouse:
A large room with a window, a large cat gym for perching and excercise, and a comfy cat bed. Plenty of room for a multi-cat family

The Kitty Castle:
This room is a smaller, more secure room for more timid cats. There is no private window, but the room is closest to the main room windows, so the cats can still see outside, but it isn't quite as frightening. It's a good room for older cats as well.

The Jungle Room:
A medium size room with a window and a lot of silk plants to hide in provides the timid cat with a secure and "easy to hide in" environment. A cat tree perch lets them look out into the room from behind a plant screen which makes them much more comfortable. If you think your cat would like this room let me know as I replace the silk plants frequently, especially if one of the previous kitty guests makes a mess of them. I often have to re-jungle-ize, so make sure I have time to do that.

Our Rates:

Daily $12.00 --- Weekly $75.00 --- Monthly $240.00

These charges are per room, not per cat. Like at a motel, you can have more than one resident per room. An additional $3.00/day applies to each additional cat in the room, to cover additional care and cleaning time. This rate ONLY applies if the the cats are in the same room.

We are also negotiable on the long term rates, so if you are going to be gone for an extended period of time, we can always work something out that works for everyone. I don't like to see a cat stuck in a tiny cage for months at a time so we try to accomodate all budgets. There is also an small additional charge for cleaning if your cat is a male with spraying tendencies unless you tell us about it first so we can set up the room for wall watering felines, with easily cleaned and deodorizable furnishings. Cleaning products that can totally remove cat stink are expensive, plus it generally puts the room out of commission for a few days while we get the smell out for the next guest.

There may be additional expenses for cats with health problems requiring unusual care or requiring isolation. There is no charge for simple procedures such as giving insulin shots, pills and that sort of thing.

We only have a three rooms, so it is a good idea to contact us well ahead of time to see if we will have a room available. We do take reservations, but we do ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you are going to cancel so we can take the next person on the list. We book up really fast around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

"Kitty Limo" pickup and delivery service is also available.
